Ellie Johnson Studio

Ellie Johnson is a multidisciplinary artist working with a range of media taking the form of a largely playful and colourful array of drawing, sculpture and video work that simultaneously exposes a darker side. Exploring concepts surrounding food and the emotional responses and social interactions involving consumption and eating, her work delves into the often very intimate relationships we have with food and our own bodies. From being too full or not full enough to the uncontrollable sounds our bodies make, her work delves into these feelings and projects them into a colourful space where they might be seen.
